Under Sink Water Filter Installation
If you have standard plumbing under the sink, a competent handyman can install the under sink filter system. For more complex setups, a qualified plumber is required.
Not confident with plumbing? Our team can help with installing the RS2000 under sink systems which you can request at the time of purchase.

Maintenance & Aftercare
Our under sink water filtration system requires a cartridge replacement every 8 – 12 months, depending on your water quality.
For the RS2000 under sink water filter range, quick-change cartridge replacements can be done without plumbers. Simply switch off the under sink water supply, release the pressure by opening your tap, untwist the old cartridges and screw in the new ones.
For the under sink reverse osmosis 7-stage filter, its pre-membrane cartridge is also a quick-change cartridge. However, the post-membrane cartridge replacement has more technical steps involved. To make things easier, we provide a complimentary how-to service for your first cartridge change.

How does an under sink water filter work?
An under sink filter connects directly to your cold water supply beneath the sink. A dedicated tap is installed on your benchtop or sink, which is where your filtered water is dispensed. When you open that tap, water passes through the filter cartridges, removing chlorine, sediment, and odour along the way. What comes out the other end is clean, fresh, great-tasting water — every time.
What does the under sink filter actually remove from my drinking water?
This depends on which filtration system, type of cartrdige and number of cartridges in the system you choose.

Carbon Cartridge 1 micron – removes chlorine only
Carbon Silver 0.5 micron – chlorine & chloramine, bacteria, VOC’s, some heavy metals
Carbon granular activated (GAC) – removes free chlorine & chloramine, odour, organic contaminants, pesticides and chemicals that contribute to taste and odour.

What is the difference between filtered water and purified water?
The difference between filtered water and purified water is all in the filtering process. Both types of water are subject to filtration.
